:: Student Youth Camp SGM 2005 ::

Yea..just got back from a camp.*Phew* SoOoo..tired.XD I registered only that morning..hehe.Lucky there was two empty spaces so i am able to take part.This kok wen ah..say just come aih. I was put in Group 6.We have choosen ant as our animal logo.We had many activities there like gosho, teachings, tresure hunt, ice breaker and the event that hit me the most is "night sharing" and "lin chee kang semangkuk satu kupang". The night sharing was so touching that it made me cry.We were blind folded and all the lights were shut off.We were brought around and in the same time given actual proofs on " appreciate the ppl around us and not wait till its too late" concept.A more life spirit game was the lin chee kang.We had to say a rhyme as many as we could and oso as many kupang as possible.Yea it was fun.I was given the chance to give my feelings during the impression session.And oso haha..i only slept for 3 hrs tat day.We slept at 1.00 and had to wake up at 5 in the morning.Man i can't sleep that nite.U wana know y? The other girls were like talking talking non stop and some even on music till the next day..><''' It was conducted in chinesse so i couldn't remember much of the teachings. The thing i could remember is the question wat is " wei lai " = future? And oso the process on how our presidents undergo in prison, and the imporatance of treasuring the ppl around us.

One more fact is that this was the first time us kk, sabah organise a student youth camp. I would oso like to take this oppurtinity here ta say once again u gyz commitee did a great job.Can i b one oso next time? Hehe..just asking.

Just to comment bout the camp.It was wonderfull. Come on gyz let's give everyone " yi ge ai de gu li "

A workshop by LKW and IEC ---> 11 Dec

Hmm..i attended a workshop today from 12pm to bout 5.30 pm today.I actually forgoten bout it if haven for Fung who asked me whether i am attending or not.Hehe..oops.Pelupa yang biasa here.Anyway the workshop was not boring..still ok.We get to do 3 activities there.Before we start everything we had an icebreaker.Our group leader was Fung and our group name waz..I2S2. ( 2 = supercript ). Becoz we were from IS and we had another group member from SI..So there is where we got our name.Our first task waz to create a stucture which is stable and had a ping pong at the top of it.We were ask to use up all the straws given.Ours waz nearly a success..just that in the last few seconds we ermm..got panic and all went jumbled up..and it did not even last till the real time test starts..Ooops hehe..it waz fun though.The next task waz to paste up symbols on boxes provided on a paper based on the ryhme " Jack and Jill ".I waz here given the task to present it..We were the first group.Hmm i waz in a trouble coz i really duno how to start.The audience waz good and so is the lecturers.I din really presented it well though coz we dun actually have a particular story to follow.It waz just as i told them simple and direct.Which i waz told by the lecturer, direct is wrong.Overall i am glad i did not panic and shaked when i presented like what i did in my presentations at school.I waz calm.Thank goodness.I waz so happy bout that point only.^ ^. Will do better next time.Its a good experince there.The final task waz that we a required to create a small sketch.We need to create a superhero.Guess what is our super hero?Its the bad guy- barren shoe( by Moina ) versus the good guy-slipper hero (by Liew). It was fun. Although our group did not win any of the particular task.I personally feel that it was fun that we get to do some activities together.It serves as an experience and memory. And i am glad to have knew 2 new frens Liew and Nicholas if i am not mistaken that is their name.Hehe..
That's all that happen today.. *phew* So tired.

:: 99% Bitch; 100% Is a Breeze :: Hmmm ??

There is a difference btw interest and commitment. When you’re interested in doing something you do it only when it’s convenient. When you are committed to something, you accept no excuses, only results.

KEN BLANCHARD
Chief Spiritual Officer of the Ken Blanchard Companies and coauthor of over 30 bks.

In life the spoils of victory go to those who make 100% commitment to the outcome, to those who have a “no matter what it takes “attitude. They give it their all; they put everything they have into getting their desired result- whether it be an Olympic gold medal, the top sales award, a perfect dinner party, an A in microbiology, or their dream hse. What a simple concept this is-yet you’d be surprised how many ppl wake up every day and fight with themselves over whether or not to keep their commitments, stick to their disciplines, or carry out their action plans.

THE “NO-EXCEPTIONS RULE”

Successful ppl adhere to the “no exceptions rules” when it comes to their daily disciplines. Once you make a 100% commitment to something, there are no exceptions. It’s a done deal. Nonnegotiable. Case closed! Over and out. If I make a 100% commitment to monogamy, that is it. I never have to think about it again. There is no exceptions no matter what circumstances. Its end of the discussion, closes the door, permits no other possibility. I don’t have to wrestle with that decision every day. It’s already been made. The die has been cast. All the bridges are burned. It makes life easier and simpler and keeps me on focus. It frees up tons of energy that would otherwise be spent internally debating the topic over and over again, because all the energy I expend on internal conflict is unavailable to use for creating outer achievement.
If you make the 100% commitment to exercise everyday for 30 minutes, no matter what, then it is settled. You just simply do it, doesn’t matter if u are traveling.
It’s like brushing ur teeth b4 you go to bed. You always do it, no matter what. If you find yourself in bed and u have forgotten, you get out of bed and brush them. Doesn’t matter how late is it. You just do it.

Take 100% responsiblity for your life- My key to success

You must take personal responsibility. You cannot
change the circumstances, the seasons, or the wind,
but you can change yourself.
JIM ROHN
America’s foremost business
philosopher

If you want to create the life of your dreams, then you are going to have to take 100% responsibility for your life as well. This means giving up all your excuses, all your victim stories, all the reasons why you can’t and why you haven’t up until now, and your blaming of outside circumstances. You have to give them all up forever.
You have to take position that you have always had the power to make it different, to get it right, to produce the desire result. For whatever reason – ignorance, lack of awareness, fear , needing to be right, the need to feel safe – you choose not to exercise that power. Who knows why? It doesn’t matter. The past is the past. All that matters now is that from this point forward you choose – that’s right, it’s a choice – you choose to act as if ( that’s all that’s required – to act as if ) you are 100% responsible for everything that does or doesn’t happen to you.
If something doesn’t turn out as planned, you will ask yourself, “ How did I create that? What was I thinking? What were my beliefs? What did I say or not say? What did I do or not to create that result? How did I get the other person to act that way? What do I need to do differently next time to get the result I want?”
A few years after I met Mr.Stone, Dr Robert Resnick, a psychotherapists in Los Angeles, taught me a very simple but very important formula that made me this idea of 100% responsibility even clearer to me. The formula is:

E + R = O
( Event + Response = Outcome )

The basic idea is that every outcome you experience in life (whether success or failure, wealth or poverty, health or illness, intimacy or estrangement, joy or frustration ) is the result of how you responded to an earlier event or events in your life.
If you don’t like the outcomes you are currently getting there are two basic choices you can make.
1. You can blame the event for your lack of results.
2. You can instead simply change the response to the event – the way thing are – until you get the outcomes you want.
