Guidances i got from my sis Sophie that i read up today...

As said on the title, i just read up the guidance today. And found them very familiar to my current situation. This actual proofs and words have made me realise that what i am doin now is wrong. I should not be coward, should live a life of joyous state, treasure my youth, set big goals and establish firm faith so that i can achive them and surmount every hardship i faced.!!!!

Youth is Golden

The times have changed. They now belong to you, the youth. I would like to share with you the words of Russian writer Maksim Gorky (1868–1936): “Preserve your youth! There is nothing in the world better than that. There is nothing more precious than youth.” It is just as he says.
Yet there are some who fall into harmful and destructive ways in their youth, and others who lose hope, because they are so wrapped up in their present reality that they can’t see the future. That is why I want to encourage you to treasure your youth; nothing is more wonderful!
When I was young, I closely and avidly read many books. I recall the works of such Japanese writers as Genjiro Yoshida and Hyakuzo Kurata.
Many great writers have focused on the theme of how best to spend one’s youth. Gorky went on to say: “With youth, as with gold, you can accomplish anything you please.”Indeed, youth is golden. It has unbounded potential.
How much more this is true for all of you, who uphold and practice the Mystic Law at such a young age. You are leading a youth based on the Mystic Law that is without compare in the universe—a youth that will surely lead to eternal victory. Please don’t spend this valuable time foolishly, wasting it because you are unaware of how precious it is. Instead, live these wonderful years of your youth courageously and without regrets.

Words by Okajima to his juniors

Okajima was also very good at looking after his juniors. He was extremely conscientious about sending them letters of encouragement. In one of those letters, he wrote: “Let’s make an even greater effort to respect our fellow members, to share each other’s sufferings, encourage each other, and help each other grow. Everyone has unique talents and everyone has a mission.
“I have experienced indescribable sufferings of my own, too. But we can’t let such things defeat us. Youth is a time filled with problems and difficulties. Let’s set big goals and establish firm faith so that we can achieve them and surmount every hardship we may face. Laziness and complacence are a student’s worst foes. Let’s advance together as members of the student division, supporting and strengthening one another as we go.We all have our own karma. But no matter what our past offenses, if we strive earnestly in faith, we can transform great suffering into minor suffering, change our karma, and attain Buddhahood in this existence. That is the power of the Daishonin’s Buddhism. With strong faith, Okajima eliminated all of his negative karma in his lifetime—it could even be said that that had been his life’s purpose.
The Daishonin also states: “Nam-myoho-renge-kyo is the greatest of all joys” (OTT, 212). Life is eternal. If work hard to realize kosen-rufu and bring our lives to a joyous and vibrant close, that life-state will remain with us after death and into our next life as well. In the same way that a magnificent sunset promises beautiful weather for the next day, we are certain to experience joy in both life and death.
Moreover, Okajima’s life served as a model for other young people. From a Buddhist standpoint, it was a truly meaningful and noble existence.

My Low Life Force today

My Life force is so low today. I had my first practical trial today. It did not went well at all. I was actually able to calm myself down that morning..saying that I can do it..with me just being calmed. But it ended up that I am not able to get the required answer. I actually did the readings twice. I actually felt weird bout my first reading. So I decided to do another time..After I plotted the graph again. There it was a mistake again.I couldn’t get 0.5 kg which was the exact answer. I really don’t know where I had made a mistake. I really don’t. Due to my extremely low force today, I am experiencing “3000 realms of life” so badly that I cried, then stop. Cry then stopped. I know its because my lack of daimuku..and I intend to work this “problem” out. I wana change my state of life force that is not stable and make the impossible possible. My desires are to get good grades and I will see to it that this is achieved. The Spirit of Soka Gakkai Malaysia/International will always be in me.

As the Daishonin says: “Nichiren’s disciples cannot accomplish anything if they are cowardly” (WND, 481). Let us take these words deeply to heart.

My current situation in life as a A-lvl Student

Hi hi..just feel like blogging out my thoughts today here..Well? Erm...My trials are finally over. But my practical trials starts this saturday. I know i did extremely badly in my trials. BUT i have found which paper i am weak in. AND most importantly i have found the solution to all my problems. I have got all the answers(solutions) to the papers i am weak at..[Here i would like to say a big thank you again to my frens who gave me those answers..you gyz r a life saviour]and asked for help today in certain papers from lecturers. I am glad that he is able to help me out if i were to have any difficulties in answering questions during study leave. I now have finally time(4 weeks and 4 days to b exact) to finally concertrate on the real exam although trials are actually function to determine wat you will get in the real exam. For the very first time , i took trials as a test to determine which paper or area i am weak at..which i don't normaly do during my highschool days. The spirit of Soka Gakkai Malaysia will always be in me heeh^^.

I was so happy when i got the guidance from a great sis of mine..and i am really trying to follow it as well..

"If we look at our situation only with our reason,
there will not be the slightest chance of our
winning. But the Daishonin tells us straight out
that the Gohonzon has the infinite power. The only
question is whether we believe this or not. If we
think that we are [truly practising according to] the
Daishonin, we have first of all to pray/chant
fervently to be able to carry out the kind of
courageous practice that can make the impossible
POSSIBLE!" - Daisaku Ikeda.

My current motto is ---What happened, happened. Important thing is stay "FOCUSED" & "POSITIVELY" energetic in mind~ I sure will succeed in A-lvls
